TC Entertainment has found a new show from the past to give some new life to with the 1975 series Iruka to Shonen. A co-production between Aiken and France, the thirteen-episode series is scheduled for a March 31st, 2021 debut. It’ll be a two-disc set that was produced with HD negative telecine from full-length 35mm negative film. The only extra included is a booklet with it.
The Japanese cast includes Katsuji Mori as Yan, Fuyumi Shiraishi as Marina, Hiroshi Ohtake as Sebastien, Kiyoshi Kawakubo as Michael, and Masayasu Takato as Patrick.
Plot Concept: The series presents the adventures of Zoum, a white dolphin and his friends, two children who live with their sailor uncle. The cast includes several animals including a mynah bird (who understands the dolphin language in addition to the language of the other animals and the humans on the island and acts as a translator), a koala, and a sloth.
