With some very fun time with Mysteria Friends the last time around, I wasn’t expecting much with this episode. There’s some main story plot thrown in about getting ready to fight Belial and that has the ship moving along with everyone doing what needs doing. The problem is that it’s hard to get a good cuppa because of the turbulence and being tossed around, which is at least cute to watch. Sandalphon gets some decent attention in the second act with the primarchs or whatever and it’s cute to see how he’s toyed with before it shifts to Belial floating off into the crack in the sky, which leads to some hilarity with Lunalu.
In Summary:
There’s a lot that ties into the main show this time around more than previous episodes and they even kill some time within this one to promote the series finale in the next episode. It’s not badly done here and I got a few more chuckles than I usually do even while struggling to remember the main series itself. It does manage the short-form humor better this time around even with the extra bits mixed in, which is surprising.
