Netflix Expands Anime Studio Partnerships

Who is Netflix partnering with next?

Netflix has been involved with anime productions for a few years now and had a new announcement of business alliances with some today. The streaming service provided a promo that shows off some of their past partnerships that have produced series such as Great Pretender and Dragon Pilot where they worked with Wit Studio and Sublimation for example.

Now, the streamer has announced that they’ve working with studios NAZ, Science SARU, and MAPPA out of Japan and Studio Mir based in South Korea. No specific projects were announced but all of them have had strong projects over the years that have gained attention around the world which is what the service is looking for while also looking for things that are very Japanese.
