AfterShock Comics is lining up a new series for early 2021 that definitely looks like it should be fun to check out with Scout’s Honor. The new series is set for a January 6th, 2021 debut where it comes from writer David Pepose and artist Luca Casalanguida. They’re working with colorist Matt Milla and letterer Carlos M. Mangual. The series will feature the main cover to the right from Andy Clarke and Jose Villarrubia and there will be an incentive cover from Bren Schoonover made as well.
“Scout’s Honor is about a post-apocalyptic cult rising from the ashes of a nuclear war… and their bible is an old Boy Scout manual,” said writer David Pepose. “Our series follows Kit, a promising young trainee with a big secret — in a harsh survivalist society that only allows men to serve, Kit has concealed her identity as a woman to pursue her calling as a Ranger Scout. But when she makes a shocking discovery dating back to the Ranger Scouts’ conception, Kit will be forced to reexamine everything she once believed, as she struggles to survive both her fellow Ranger Scouts and the radioactive horrors of the Colorado Badlands.
