Coming up with a September 19th, 2020 debut in the UK, distributor Anime Limited has now brought out their trailer to highlight the Tamako Market release. This set isn’t just that TV series, however, as it also includes the Tamako Love Story film which makes it similar to what Sentai Filmworks released recently as a combined bilingual set. This release is set to include some things we didn’t get in the US side, however, with its collector’s edition:
- -All of the series Tamako Market on Blu-ray (English and Japanese with English subtitles viewing option)
- The follow-up movie, Tamako Love Story on Blu-ray (English and Japanese with English subtitles viewing options)
- 60-page Tamako Market focused art booklet featuring character art and information, location art and information, original character designs, key visual gallery, and more.
- Plus a 60-page Tamako Love Story focused storyboard booklet featuring the storyboards of “Tamako’s Confession” as well as the Opening and Ending and all this comes packed in a rigid case!

The 12 episode series is directed by Naoko Yamada (K-ON!) and featuring series composition by Reiko Yoshida, character designs by Yukiko Horiguchi, sound direction by Yota Tsuruoka and music by Tomoko Kataoka.
Plot concept: Tamako knows everything about mochi, the traditional Japanese dessert treats. When she’s not attending her first year of high school, she works at Tama-ya, her family’s mochi shop. However, friendships, rivalries, and strange new feelings are beginning to make her life a sticky, complicated mess! There’s guaranteed to be a sweet treat with every adventure when you take a walk through TAMAKO MARKET!
