The Promised Neverland was a big part of the winter 2019 season and has a second season coming up that was originally planned for the fall 2020 season. The idea was to also run the first season during the summer in order to build new audience and refresh for others. With a lot of productions not able to be worked on now, schedules are shifting and the second season has now been moved to a winter 2021 debut. Plot Concept: Emma, Norman, and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes, and the perfect environment to learn—what more could an orphan ask for? One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing.
