“Did You Think Killing Me Would Make Me Die?” Is Aasked In This ‘Misfit of Demon King Academy’ Anime Clip

The summer 2020 anime adaptation of the light novel series Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha is localized as The Misfit of Demon King Academy. The series debuted on July 4th, 2020 after initially being set for the spring season and now Crunchyroll is doing some promotion for their simulcast of the series. This one comes from the fourth episode as we see how Anos angers the god of time, who thinks killing him will be enough to stop him!

The series has Shin Oonuma as the chief director and Masafumi Tamura as the director. Mirai Minato is on board as the assistant director. Jin Tanaka is handling the scripts with Kazuyuki Yamayoshi adapting the character designs. Silver Link is working the animation production. Check out the new key visual below as well.

The anime adaptation will feature Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Anoth. Additional casting includes Tomori Kusunoki as Misha Necron and Yuko Natsuyoshi as Sasha Necron.

The opening theme song is “Seikai Fusaikai” by CIVILIAN while the ending theme song information with it being “Hamidashimono” by Tomori Kusunoki.

The novels come from Shu which began in 2017 and has five volumes to date. A manga adaptation launched in the summer of 2018 from Kayaharuka.

Plot Concept: Despite their appetite for destruction, even demon kings tire of all the blood and chaos sometimes! When Anoth reincarnates in the hopes of a more peaceful life, he ends up going to school with his descendants in his old castle 2,000 years later. But with magic on its last legs in this era, no one is able to assess Anoth’s true power!
