20th-Anniversary Film ‘Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna’ Anime Reveals English Dub Trailer

Highly Anticipated New Movie from Toei Animation Available for First Time in U.S. and Canada in Both Original Japanese and English Dub as Digital Download and on DVD and Blu-ray

As we noted a couple of years ago, the Digimon franchise has found a really solid revival of sorts the last couple of years with the Digimon Adventure Tri series of films that got it a lot of worldwide attention. One of the more recent high-profile pieces was the Digimon Adventure: LAST EVOLUTION -Kizuna- film. With the theatrical release not happening anymore in North America, the film was recently announced for an October 6th, 2020 home video release. That has Toei Animation now releasing a new trailer for the film with the English dub cast getting the focus here that you can see below.

Plot Concept: Tai is now a university student, living alone, working hard at school, and working every day, but with his future still undecided. Meanwhile, Matt and others continue to work on Digimon incidents and activities that help people with partner Digimon. An unprecedented phenomenon occurs and the DigiDestined discovers that when you grow up, your relationship with your partner Digimon will come closer to an end. As a countdown timer activates on the Digivice, they realize that the more you fight with their Partner Digimon, the faster their bond breaks. Will you fight for others and lose your partner? The time to choose and decide is approaching fast. There is a short time before “chosen children” will become adults. This is the last adventure of Tai and Agumon.
