The summer 2019 anime adaptation of the Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] manga as The Ones Within saw the simulcast and simuldub come out last year from Funimation and sees home video release from them next week. The show is also going to make its way overseas as Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has announced that they’ll be releasing it there. They’ve set an October 7th, 2020 arrival for it there where it’ll use the same Blu-ray discs for it which includes the show in bilingual form along with the OVA, promos, commercials, and the clean opening and closing sequences. It’ll be priced at $64.95.
Shin Oonuma directed it based on the series composition by Kento Shimoyama. Mizuki Takahashi is handling the character designs with Silver Link working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Akatsuki Iride, Akari Kitō as Karin Sarayashiki, Takuya Satō as Kaikoku Onigasaki, Tasuku Hatanaka as Anya Kudō, Kouki Uchiyama as Zakuro Oshigiri, Manaka Iwami as Himiko Inaba, Takuma Terashima as Makino Aikawa, Kaori Nazuka as Yuzu Roromori, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Paka.
The English dub was directed by Clifford Chapin based on the scripts by Katelyn Barr. The English cast includes Justin Briner as Akatsuki, Aaron Campbell as Kaikoku, Ben Phillips as Paka, Kate Bristol as Himiko, Kristi Rothrock as Karin, Marissa Lenti as Yuzu , Mark Allen Jr. as Makino, Stephen Fu as Zakuro, and Travis Mullenix as Anya.
The property comes from creator Osora that began in October 2014 on the Gene pixiv site. Print releases began in 2015.

Akatsuki, along with eight other charismatic gamers are gathered, as they challenge the mysterious game world by putting their lives on the line.
