The end of December 2019 revealed that the Moriarty the Patriot property was slotted for an anime adaptation. We’ve gotten some solid updates for it so far and now a new update has revealed that it’s set for the October 2020 season and some additional casting has been revealed. That comes in the form of:

  • Yuuki Ono as John H Watson

  • Yuuto Uemura as Fred Porlock

The previously announced Japanese cast includes Sōma Saitō as William James Moriarty, Takuya Sato as Albert James Moriarty, Chiaki Kobayashi as Louis James Moriarty, and Makoto Furukawa as Sherlock Holmes.

The manga comes from Ryosuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi which began in Jump SQ back in August 2016. It’s produced ten volumes as of the announcement in December 2019. A novel was produced for it in fall 2018.
