Crunchyroll added a new show back in 2018 that we’d seen from Funimation onto the service with Castle Town Dandelion. The full twelve episode series was made available for streaming in its original Japanese language with English subtitles with it open to viewers in the US and Canada as that’s all they got the rights to initially for streaming and home video releases. Now, with a little help from some overseas friends, Crunchyroll has expanded their availability of the show as it’s now open to UK and Ireland fans to check out.

Check out our review of the series.

The show was directed by Noriaki Akitaya with animation production by Production IMS. Reiko Yoshida handled the series composition and Shinpei Kobayashi was on board as both the character designer and the chief animation director.

The Japanese cast includes Kana Hanazawa as Akane Sakurada, Ai Kayano as Aoi Sakurada, Ryohei Kimura as Shū Sakurada, Kaori Ishihara as Kanade Sakurada, Ayumu Murase as Haruka Sakurada, Eriko Matsui as Misaki Sakurada, Yui Ogura as Hikari Sakurada, Aina Suzuki as Shiori Sakurada, Shiori Katsuta as Teru Sakurada, Yuka Aisaka as Hana Sato, Saori Hayami as Karen Ayugase, M.A.O. as An Shirogane and Sachika Kisawa as Sachiko Yonezawa.

The original work, which began in 2012, has four volumes to its name so far. Original creator Ayumu Kasuga recently served as the original character designer for Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu. They’ve got a few manga properties to their name as well beyond this series.

Plot Concept: The Sakuradas are a perfectly normal family living in a perfectly normal apartment. Except that their father happens to be a king, making them all royalty. And they’re watched by over 200 surveillance cameras and are kind of their own reality show! There’s also the fact that each sibling has their own special power.

Ok maybe they’re not so normal after all!

The nine Sakurada siblings have a common goal to become king! But only one can hold the throne, so they must compete to win the hearts and votes of their people. For one year, they’ll campaign their hardest and prove who is most fit to be king. That means making speeches, showing off their special skills, and even becomingpop idols?! But campaigning is easier for some than others. Especially with powers like transportation, creating clones, or even materializing anything you want! But for middle sister Akane, even the power to control gravity won’t be enough to help her. Between the constant surveillance and embarrassing situations galore, Akane has a long way to go to prove she’s a worthy candidate.

Only one super-powered sibling can take the throne! Who will win the crown?
