After picking up the release back in June 2014, Discotek Media previously brought the Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact, known as Shin Mazinger-Z Impact! in its Japanese release for home video. We’ve also had some streaming options out there for it over the last few years. Now, RetroCrush is digging in on bringing out clips for the show, something it never had before. The latest one is a four-minute piece from the twelfth episode that starts off in a bath and goes badly from there.

The series was directed by Yasuhiro Imagawa who worked on the series composition for it as well. Based on the original work by Go Nagai, Shinji Takeuchi worked on the character designs with Bee Media and CODE working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Ayumi Fujimura as Shirō Kabuto, Kenji Akabane as Kōji Kabuto, Yasuaki Suzuki as Jūzō Kabuto, Atsushi Imaruoka as Detective Ankokuji, Hiroshi Naka as Yanosuke Yumi, Kaori Yamagata as Baron Ashura, Kazuhiko Kishino as Dr. Hell, Kenichi Mochizuki as Viscount Pygman, Kenichirō Matsuda as Boss, Kiyoyuki Yanada as Archduke Gorgon, Kōji Ishitobi as Baron Ashura, Miyuki Ichijou as Tsubasa Nishikiori, and Taimei Suzuki as Jūzō Kabuto.
Plot concept: What would you do if you had ultimate power thrust into your hands? As a normal high school boy, Kouji Kabuto never thought he would have to face that problem.
