A new Kaiketsu Zorori anime series is in the works for the spring 2020 season and it’s been revealed that it’ll be called Motto! Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori, which is translated as More! Seriously Unserious Incredible Zorori. No details regarding staffing or casting were revealed but a key visual did come with the news to the right.
Based on the books that began in 1987, there are some 65 books since then with multiple films and movies over the years.

Plot Concept: Hara’s books follow Zorori, a mischievous bandit fox who dreams of becoming the “King of Pranks.” Zorori aims to “build my own castle and make a beautiful princess my wife,” and he embarks on one misadventure after another with his two boar companions Ishishi and Noshishi.
