The final season of Fairy Tail is underway and it’s admittedly gone on just a bit longer than I expected. That said, the official site has posted some images of a recent recording on May 6th, 2019 that featured a huge cast of characters and lots of voice actors to deal with the final episode of the series, which is 328. With over 65 actors involved, it’s definitely going to be quite the sendoff for fans. This past weekend saw episode 319 hit so we’ve got a bit more to go before we can say goodbye to Fairy Tail.

The series has the main staff coming back with Shinji Ishihira directing it with Masashi Sogo working on the series composition. Shinji Takeuchi and Toshihiko Sano are handling the character designs with A-1 Pictures and Bridge managing the animation production.

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Property concept: Cute girl wizard Lucy wants to join the Fairy Tail, a club for the most powerful wizards. But instead, her ambitions land her in the clutches of a gang of unsavory pirates led by a devious magician. Her only hope is Natsu, a strange boy she happens to meet on her travels. Natsu’s not your typical hero – he gets motion sickness, eats like a pig, and his best friend is a talking cat. With friends like this, is Lucy better off with her enemies?
