Originally serialized in Comic X-Eros #76 from the April 2019 installment, I’m Gonna Be A Farmer! is a twenty-six-page story from creator Yokoshima Nikki, marking their latest work on the service. I had liked their Welcome to The Barber story from last year a lot so getting to see a bit more with a title like this was just an easy draw. Nikki’s artwork is pretty much the big draw here with some great designs for both of our leads, though of course, it’s the woman who gets most of the attention considering what this is. I love the design work and the curves of it all and just the expressiveness – and the lack of x-ray material. Nikki also gives us just enough story and character interaction to tie it all together, giving us enough of a scenario to work with instead of just dropping us into the action.

The story focuses on Hayashi and Yuuna, a couple that met while working together at a cram school where things got serious along the way between them. It opens in the big city with him proposing to her and making it clear that he’s not trying to get her to give up her career path, which is a nice change of pace. She’s completely agreeable to marriage but has her own condition, which wasn’t something he expected. She’s been saving her money furiously for a while and wants to buy a farm and live and work on that while he sticks to his job. Getting a good sized place a good distance outside of the city means a lot of privacy and plenty to do – and a commute for him to deal with as well. So it’s no surprise that after a few months things have really started to fall apart between them.

Her lack of interest is something that drives the story as she catches him amusing himself and reveals that she’s been dreaming of all kinds of dirty scenarios with him – but has been worried that with her working so much that she’s lost her feminine side and can’t figure out how to get back on things. That leads them to get all in on some good quality naked time, which plays out beautifully. Hayashi knows from before exactly what works but they’re also kind of rediscovering each other since it has been a few months and there’s an uncertainty to it, including how her body reacts to him. It’s utterly delightful to watch the two of them reconnect like this and to hear/see her list out a number of her fantasies that she’s been keeping close to her chest. And, naturally, with Nikki’s artwork, there’s a ton of great material to watch as they strip down and really engage.

In Summary
There’s plenty to like here as Yokoshima Nikki delivers on story, character, and enjoyable sex. There’s some mild roughness to it that’s eagerly welcomed, some very silly fantasies that are delightful to watch unfold, and a good relationship that’s explored throughout it. I love the visual design and the pacing as everything is given room to breathe and you feel like you’re looking into a window of these characters lives and you’re left wanting more. It’s the kind of hentai that I look for more than most other kids and it’s why I keep Yokoshima Nikki on my favorites list. Good stuff.
