The latest rankings have come in for what’s shaking and grooving in the manga and light novel markets for the week ending January 13th, 2019. The manga side of the business is a quiet one overall with most of the top ten being additional sales for previously released titles. It’s no surprise to see The Promised Neverland continuing to do well as the anime gets out there or to see another solid bump for Black Clover. Yowamushi Pedal gets its next volume moving and we see some interesting lower sales projects in the top ten to keep an eye on.
On the novel side, The Promised Neverland novel is well timed as it added another 10,000 units to bring it to just under 24,000 since launch. The new Eromanga-sensei release takes the top spot at 17,229 units and there’s a range of interesting lower numbered and one-off books populating the list in general.
