New ‘Recently, My Sister Is Unusual’ Blu-ray Anime Box Set Packaging Revealed

The 2013 anime series Saikin, Imoto no Yosu ga Chotto Okaishiin Da Ga, which is localized as Recently, My Sister is Unusual, has a new Japanese Blu-ray box set in the works. The set is scheduled for a December 21st, 2018 debut where it’ll be priced at 9,000 yen and we now have a look at the cover artwork for it – which as you can see uses the main key visual for the cast but with a new background. It’s bringing the full series that was done previously as six discs down to one. Naturally, no extras are included with it but for those just wanting the show in a compact way this works out well.

Plot concept: The latest entry in the “my little sister” genre, Recently, My Sister is Unusual is based on an original manga written and illustrated by Mari Matsuzawa. As usual, the story features a younger sister named Mitsuki Kanzaki who goes to live with her step-brother Yuya Kanzaki after her mother remarries. However, the hijinks start once Mari becomes possessed by a ghost named Hiyori Kotobuki, who must fall in love with Yuya in order to pass on…
