The superhero side of the month of October breaks out a bit better in terms of variety once you remove all the manga from the list and some of the non-superhero stuff. For October, we already knew that Batman: White Knight was the top title so it sits here well for the DC Black Label release. DC Comics also grabs more spots with properties like Wonder woman: Earth One and Batman: The Long Halloween for the obvious Halloween season. But they also scored some evergreen books and the potential for Dark Metal to fall into that category as well.
Marvel Comics moves some good Infinity Gauntlet product while also getting Star Wars: Darth Vader into the mix and the Daredevil: Born Again release among others, tying nicely into the TV and film side.
This month also sees some good projects from Titan Comics and Dark Horse making their way out as well as Archie Comics hopefully selling more than a few volumes of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
