An advertisement for the fifth volume of the Kono Yūsha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru, aka This Hero is Invincible but “Too Cautious”, novel series on the Book Walker service has revealed that an anime adaptation of some sort is in the works for the project. The series comes from writer Light Tuchihi which began in 2016 and, as mentioned, has five volumes out as of this week. With a manga beginning this week in Dragon Age by Koyoki, it looks like the familiar pieces are in place to seed interest in different markets for it and raise the prominence of the novels themselves.
Plot Concept: The story begins when the goddess Rista summons a hero to help her hard mode video game-like world. The hero, Seiya, is exceptional in every way, but he is incredibly cautious. He does things like buy three sets of armor (one to wear, a spare, and a spare for the spare) and go full power against weak slimes (just in case).
