Second ‘Kaiju Girls Black’ Anime Promo Arrives

With the second season of Kaiju Girls wrapping up earlier this year, the got the go-ahead previously with Kaiju Girls (Black). We knew previously that the project will be getting a limited theatrical run in Japan in late November 2018 and now a new promo has landed for it that also gives us some additional casting information. The newly announced members of the cast include:

  • Riho Iida as Agira
  • Sora Tokui as Pigmon
  • Aina Suzuki as Miclas
  • Emiri Katō as Zetton
  • Hiromi Igarashi as Red King
  • Megumi Han as Eleking
  • Ayaka Suwa as Gomora
  • Suzuko Mimori as King Joe
  • Risae Matsuda as Alien Guts
  • Manami Numakura as Bemstar

Yasutaka Yamamoto is directing it with Kento Shimoyama handling the series composition. Komagoma is handling the character designs with Yumeta Company working on the animation production.

The Japanese cast for this series includes Hiyori Nitta as Commander Black, Yuki Yagi as Alien Pegassa, Minami Takahashi as Silver Bloome, and Kaori Ishihara as Nova.

The previous two series were directed by Minoru Aashina while Norimitsu Kaiho is handling the concept and setting for it. With character designs by Nekosuke Ōkuma (Nitroplus), Hiroshi Tani, CHOCO, Jirō Tomioka, Namaniku ATK (Nitroplus), Nekokan Masshigura (Nitroplus), Bakutendo, and minoa (Nitroplus)., Studio Puyukai and Mdicrie handled the animation for it.

The Japanese cast includes Riho Iida as Agira/Aki Miyashita, Aina Suzuki as Miclas/Miku Ushimaru and Yurika Endō as Windom/Reika Shiragane.

Plot concept: Humanity’s battle of many years with the kaiju, giant monsters, has finally come to an end. Now that Earth has entered an age of peace, girls with the souls of kaiju have begun to appear, giving them the ability to transform into kaiju. They are known as the Kaiju Girls, and this is the powerful, transient, beautiful, and at times easygoing story of the strange fate these girls bear.
