With some live-action material and manga out there in years past for the Million Arthur MMORPG game from Square Enix, a full on anime adaptation was announced back in March 2018. This one is focused on the upcoming game Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur and it’s was planned for this year with a two-cour run. As we’re actually close to getting this underway, the official site has brought in the first promotional video for the series that clocks in at just over 90-seconds and provides a taste of the opening theme song.
We’ve known for awhile that the first cour is coming up with an October 25th, 2018 debut and we recently got the nod from the official site that the second cour will arrive as part of the spring 2019 season in April.
The series is being directed by Youhei Suzuki with Tsuyoshi Tamai handling the scripts for it. JC Staff is working on the animation production side and Yoshinari Saito has been revealed as the main character designer with Masahito Onoda as the sub-designer.
