NBC Universal Japan is continuing to work through some of their older works with new priced-down re-releases and the Ergo Proxy series is now getting the treatment. Set for an August 29th, 2018 release, it’ll be priced at 12,000 yen and will include the English language dub. This is a native HD release with four discs to cover the full run while the extras include the clean opening, the pilot, and the various promos and trailers.
The twenty-three episode series originally broadcast back in 2006 and was licensed in North America and dubbed by Geneon Entertainment. Funimation holds the current license rights to it and produced a complete DVD collection back in 2012. The series was directed by Shukou Murase based on the series composition from Dai Sato and had Naoyuki Onda as the character designer and featured an opening song from Radiohead. It was animated by Manglobe.

As Re-l attempts to unlock this spiraling mystery, a metaphysical battle cry leads her to the unknown outside world…
