With the spring season coming up the licensing acquisitions are going to flow fairly freely soon enough. Sentai Filmworks has staked out a short for the season with the acquisition of the Alice or Alice series, which will get a home video release later on after streaming. Their distribution rights are for North America, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.
The series has set Kosuke Kobayashi to direct it with Naoko Kuwabara handling the character designs. EMT Squared will be handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast are reprising their roles from the drama CD with:
- Ayane Sakura as Rise
- Rina Hidaka as Airi
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as older brother
- Natsumi Takamori as Maco
- Ayaka Suwa as Coco
- Sora Tokui as Kisaki
- Saori Ōnishi as Ruha
- Hiyori Nitta as Alpaca-san and Kabi Usagi
The manga from Riko Korie kicked off back in 2013 in Comic Alive before moving to this magazine and it has two volumes so far, as well as two drama CDs that was previously produced. Those starred Ayane Sakura and Rina Hidaka, who likely will end up in the anime adaptation as often happens in these situations.
Plot Concept: This story gives a look at the daily life of a pair or Alice twins and their older brother who has a sister complex. Them eating meals, getting into fights, playing with friends… Would you like to peek at the heartful daily life of the cute Alices?
