Crunchyroll Adds Five Seasons Of ‘Case Closed’ Anime

1 min read

Crunchyroll has been doing the simulcast side of Case Closed for several years now as that series rolls on and they added large chunks of the run long ago as well to catch up on things. Where things fell behind was with the first five seasons of it that Funimation had picked up and dubbed and streamed on their site. That’s now been smoothed over thanks to the ongoing streaming partnership as those five seasons have now been added to Crunchyroll’s site for viewing, giving fans well over eight hundred episodes to dig into and enjoy.

Due to this being licensed quite awhile originally, Funimation only has streaming rights for the US and Canada and that applies here as well.

Plot Concept: The son of a world-famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
