‘Mitsuboshi Colors’ Anime Opening & Closing Sequences Streamed

2 min read

The Mitsuboshi Colors anime series is underway and our review went up earlier for the opening episode. The folks at Frontier Works are doing some very welcome promotion for it by streaming the opening and closing sequences to try and encourage folks to watch it – which can be seen on HIDIVE as Sentai Filmworks licensed it. The opening theme song is “Colors Power ni Omakasero!” while the ending theme song is “Mitsuboshi Colors ☆ Honjitsu mo Ijō Nashi”, both of which are by Colors☆Slash.

The anime adaptation was directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura based on the series composition by Shogo Yasukawa. Takumi Yokota handled the character designs with Silver Link producing the animation.

Japanese cast includes Yuuki Takada as Yui, Marika Kouno as Sacchan, Natsumi Hioka as Kotoha, Atsushi Tamaru as Saitō, Kaori Nazuka as Sacchan’s Mother, Ayaka Asai as Nonoka, Tesshō Genda as Old Man, and Hisako Tōjō as Momoka.

The original work has three volumes to its name since starting in the summer of 2014.

Plot concept: The “Colors” are three cute little girls who hang out together and say they’re protecting the peace of their city. They have lots of fun together, doing stuff like playing games, solving puzzles, and going to the zoo. This story follows their largely happy daily life.
