Kotobukiya’s been getting into the anime game once again as their model kit series Frame Arms Girl saw release after its broadcast run. Pony Canyon is handling the home video release for it and throughout 2017 brought out the show as a four-volume series with a limited edition figure included with it as a model kit. The Blu-ray’s priced at 12,500 yen as they include a model kit with each edition. With that wrapping up recently, they’re quickly moving to the box set side and have set it for Febrary 21st, 2018 where it’ll be priced at 24,000 yen. Which means with no figure you can get the whole thing at half the cost. Not a bad deal if you didn’t mind waiting, though the figure kits were the draw for many hence it doing well in sales.
A manga series is scheduled for the February 2017 Comp Ace installment with Tsuneo Tsuneishi illustrating it as Frame Arms Girl: Lab Days. A drama CD wass also set for a March 24th, 2017 release.
An announcement teaser was released that reveals that the characters of Gourai, Stylet and Baselard are all set to appear in it. The model kit series began in 2015.
