Eureka SevenBandai Visual is gearing up for the new film trilogy that’s coming out for the Eureka Seven franchise and that means a chance to sell the original series some more. They’ve set a pair of DVD and Blu-ray box sets that will be out later this year that will bring the fifty episode series to a new audience at a lower price than before. The Blu-ray sets are priced at 18,000 yen each while the DVD sets are at 17,000 yen each. They’re planned for an August 29th, 2017 and September 27th, 2017 release plan.

Extras will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Plot concept: For Renton, every days the same. Nothing happens, nothing changes. He goes to school, he goes home. Nothing exciting ever happens to him. Until one day, a giant mecha called an LFO comes crashing down on him literally. And inside is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen! The thing is, though, the girl, named Eureka, is on the run from the military with her stolen mecha, and she’s brought trouble with her.
