Hollow Fields VisualSeven Seas Entertainment is going back to one of their earlier and popular properties with a new full-color edition of Madeleine Rosca’s award-winning steampunk series, Hollow Fields. The series was originally released in black & white manga format and this new edition will be presented at a deluxe trim size, left-to-right reading order, and full-color pages. Seven Seas will bring out the first volume of the Hollow Fields Color Edition on October 3, 2017 for $12.99 USA / $14.99 CAN.

“Hollow Fields is one of the most treasured books we’ve released in our over ten years of publishing here at Seven Seas,” says Publisher Jason DeAngelis. “Madeleine has built such a fantastical world in Hollow Fields and we couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to rerelease the title in this new format for a whole new generation of readers and existing fans alike.”

Plot concept: Located on the outskirts of Nullsville and run by the insidious Engineers, the grim boarding school dedicates itself to raising the next generation of mad scientists and evil geniuses! Classes include Live Taxidermy, Cross-Species Body Part Transplantation, and Killer Robot Construction. For her own survival, Lucy must master her lessons quickly―at the end of each week, the student with the lowest grades is sent to the old windmill for detention…and so far, no child has ever returned…
