Finalized ‘Children Who Chase Lost Voices’ Sentai Selects Anime Artwork Arrives

Children Who Chase Lost Voices HeaderSentai Filmworks announced a new Sentai Selects edition of Children Who Chase Lost Voices back in March and now some new details har arrived. After getting the placeholder artwork previously, which you can see at the bottom, that’s now been moved to become the reverse side cover as a whole new layout was produced instead. The set is scheduled for a July 19th, 2016 bow in a DVD/BD collection that brings the feature out for just $19.98 – list. The extras for it include Interviews; The Making of; Japanese Promo Video; Japanese Teasers; The Works of Makoto Shinkai and a text Interview with Makoto Shinkai.

The film, known as Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo in Japan, came out in May 2011 and has a two-hour running time. Makoto Shinkai served as the director, wrote the screenplay, created the concept and worked as the director of photography while also working in editing and color design for it at CoMix Wave Films. Takayo Nishimura served as the character designer and animation director for it.

Plot Concept: When she hears a strange song from a crystal radio, Asuna tunes into more than just a magical stream of music. Soon, she is transported to a mysterious world where mythical beasts roam and brave warriors fight for their lives. Agartha is a land of breathtaking beauty and unimaginable danger – a place where, it is believed, even the dead can be brought back to life. But at what cost?
