New Anime This Week

The end of April has arrived with its latest slate of new anime DVD/BD releases for fans to dig into. It’s a fairly big release week with a mix of old and new, rescues and first-time releases, that will definitely be worth checking out. Discotek Media goes for some good rescues here with titles like Cromartie High School and Dai-Guard while also grabbing the first time release of Earl and Fairy. Funimation has a big week with two strong series landing with the first season of Garo as well as  Rage of Bahamut that’s getting a limited edition release. They also have a new One Piece collection out and the complete second season of Kamisama Kiss debuting.

Viz Media keeps things simple with the new Pokemon collection while Sentai Filmworks brings out the final collection of one of the best series I’ve ever seen with Space Brothers.
