Agents of SHIELD Seeason 3 Secret WarriorsThe third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been running well since it came back from the break where Agent Carter ran and with a renewal already in place the season finale has been set. The show will bring the third season to a close on May 17th, 2016 – which is also the day of the upfronts for ABC, so we might get some additional news then about the fourth season.

“Before we can embark on Season 4,” said Marvel upon the recent renewal, “Director Coulson and his tireless team still have to face the menace of Hive and the world’s growing concerns about the number of Inhumans popping up across the globe. There’s plenty to come as we begin the second half of Season 3, and you won’t want to miss a minute of it!”

The series stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Agent Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter, Adrianne Palicki as Agent Bobbi Morse and Luke Mitchell as Lincoln.

Plot concept: “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns for a game-changing fourth season. In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team are more driven than ever to put an end to Gideon Malick (guest star Powers Boothe) and the Hydra organization. Little do they know that they are up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward (Brett Dalton).
