With a live gig coming up at Music Studio, Miki’s coming across as pretty excited about it but the boys aren’t all that big on it because they want something bigger. She has to remind them that they’re still new to the stage overall and are really making their debut so it’s hard for them to get really excited by it. The opening bit is even fun for the way that the boys poke at her in just the right way because they don’t want her driving them since there will be lots of cute girls there and her car for the work side is pretty clunky in comparison. Watching Miki having to manage their personalities is definitely a lot of fun as she tries to keep them on the right path, especially since they’re pretty lazy no matter how much they deny it.

The boys are pretty cock here since they don’t want to do any prep for it and are confident they can nail it without any rehearsals. The reasons Miki is stressed just keep going up and up. Even worse is while they wait their turn as part of the program there’s a ton of other groups ahead of them and they keep running long, which pushes them further and further back. One of them is a huge idol-statue group with a couple dozen golden members that’s just hilarious in how it plays out since their time to respond shrinks more and more and they’re unable to figure out who from their group should talk when they do get some limited time. Their back and forth has its fun moments and that it goes all Kanye is utterly hilarious.

In Summary:
Sekko Boys manages to work a bit better for me even with the main focus being on said boys since it was broken up a bit and they were pushed more to the background and had to cope with being pushed in that direction while initially being so cocky and confident about their position. Miki has some good bits to this one but she’s still relegated to a lower position overall and that hurts the show for me. At least the boys manage to channel Kanye for a bit in a really delightful way.
