The second season of Daredevil is set for a March 18th, 2016 release with the full season on Netflix and while we wait for the second scheduled trailer on February 25th, 2016 release, Netflix has added a new little teaser. This one clocks in at just fifteen seconds but it delivers a good bit of atmosphere to it as it focuses on Frank Castle, aka the Punisher.
The new season is doing some solid expanding while still working within Hell’s Kitchen as they’re utilizing their returned license of The Punisher with Jon Bernthal taking on the role while also updating and introducing Elektra to the Marvel Universe here as played by Elodie Young.
The show stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung.
Plot concept: Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
