Scheduling arrived last month for the OVA adaptation of Kurage no Shokudo and now the first promotional teaser for it has arrived as well. It’s not long, clocking in at just under fifty seconds of animation, but it definitely sets the tone and mood of the show well and fans who enjoy this kind of work will likely flock to it. The OVA will be adapting the light novel series of the same name by Miyako Aoyama. The show has been finished in terms of recording according to the Kodansha site for the novel as we learned in January 2015. King Records has now set a March 9th, 2016 release for the 30 minute work on Blu-ray for 4,860 yen and DVD for 3,780 yen.

The show stars Goro Kurihara, Kenta Zaima, Konori Saitō, Masaya Matsukaze, Satomi Koorogi, Sayuri Sadaoka, Konori Saitou, Kiyoka Matsu and Kenta Zaima.

The OVA was directed by Hiromi Taniguchi, who also designed the characters. Chika Suzumura handled the scripts amd it was animated by Zexcs.

Plot concept: As a high school student, I ran out of the house because of what my parents said about my twin brother’s suicide. I lost consciousness at the beach, and the person who saved me was the young man who works at the restaurant there, Arashi. I lied to him that I lost my memory when he asked my name. Thus begins a strange life of living together at Jellyfish Restaurant one summer.
