The Star Wars Rebels series is back tonight with a new episode as it moves through more of its second season and the new preview out gives us some pretty fun dogfight elements to it. The clip gives Sabine and Hera a chance to show off their skills a bit, notably with Hera piloting the A-wing craft against some pretty impressive odds. The series airs Wednesday’s at 9pm on Disney XD.
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
