It’s been about a year since it was first announced, but scheduling has finally arrived for the OVA adaptation of Kurage no Shokudo. The OVA will be adapting the light novel series of the same name by Miyako Aoyama. The show has been finished in terms of recording according to the Kodansha site for the novel as we learned in January 2015. King Records has now set a March 9th, 2016 release for the 30 minute work on Blu-ray for 4,860 yen and DVD for 3,780 yen.

The show stars Goro Kurihara, Kenta Zaima, Konori Saitō, Masaya Matsukaze, Satomi Koorogi, and Sayuri Sadaoka.

The OVA was directed by Hiromi Taniguchi, who also designed the characters. Chika Suzumura handled the scripts.

Plot concept: Yōtarō Misaki finds himself lying on the beach one day. He is picked up by Arashi, who manages a restaurant called Kurage no Shokudō. When asked who he is, the protagonist tells a lie that he lost his memory — but he remembers everything, including the fact that his twin brother died.
