2 min read

Noein Header 12-31While we had a trailer for the Noein series back at the end of November, promotion ahead of its release next month is fairly quiet. One piece that slipped by us was the addition of the opening sequence to FUNimation’s channel, which we’re using to close out the year with today. The opening song is Idea by the group eufonius, which has done a few performances over the years including Clannad and True Tears among others.

The complete series is getting a DVD/BD combo LE and regular edition is now rescheduled for a January 12th, 2016 release. FUNimation previously confirmed that the release will be getting a heavy chipboard box for it and not a thin paper box to hold the set. It was also revealed that the set will be done with a foil wrap so there will be some shiny bits to be had with the already gorgeous looking artwork.

Extras include the On Location with Haruka Kudo and Director Akane, NOEIN Art Edition, Episode 24 Commentary, Promotional Videos, Commercial Collection, Textless Opening Song, Textless Closing Song, U.S. Trailer, Trailers

Plot concept: When summer break begins, Haruka is only thinking of hanging out with her friends—until one fateful night she learns that she’s the keystone in an interdimensional battle for not only the Earth’s future, but the very survival of all existence across the multiverse. She will have to trust not only herself, but multiple versions of her friends from parallel dimensions. One of these visitors identifies himself as the future version of her troubled childhood friend Yuu. Karasu swears to protect her from the god-like Noein who wants to use her to collapse all reality. When Haruka learns she has the ability to not only see, but influence every possible future, will she be able to protect infinite worlds along with her own?
