With two full promos so far and a couple of TV spots, the upcoming Kyoto Animation series Myriad Colors Phantom World isn’t going too big at Comic Market 89. Instead, what we get is a pretty quick and driven promo spot clocking in at thirty seconds to show off the property while using the opening theme Naked Dive by SCREEN mode to give it its energy.
The series will premiere on January 6th, 2016 debut on Tokyo MX1 among others.
The show will be directed by Tatsuya Ishihara while Kazumi Ikeda is serving double duty as the chief animation director as well as working on the character designs. Fumihiko Simo will be handling the series composition while animation is of course handled by Kyoto Animation.
The cast includes Hiro Shimono as Haruhiko Ichijou, Sumire Uesaka as Mai Kawakami, Saori Hayami as Reina Izumi, Maaya Uchida as Koito Minase, Azusa Tadokoro as Ruru, Misaki Kuno as Kurumi Kumamakura, Kikuko Inoue as Arisu Himeno and Daisuke Sakaguchi as Shousuke Morohashi.
Plot concept: In the near future, spirits and monsters are in full sight. A boy leads a group of people with special abilities as they plot against a massive organization that takes advantage of a certain incident and eventually know the truth about their world in the process.
