New ‘Batman V Superman – Dawn Of Justice’ Trailer Provides Lots Of Spoilers

2 min read

Batman V Superman HeaderThe newest trailer has arrived for the upcoming film Batman V Superman – Dawn Of Justice and it’s definitely going to add a lot of fuel to the fire in terms of the rivalry that some engage in when it comes to Marve versus DC. Clocking in at three minutes, the trailer covers a lot of ground and really does explore some of the basic ideas that it’s going to work with while also revealing some of the twists in it as well that I can’t say I was expecting with the background villain. What we do get is the first look at the Trinity together in one sequence, something that longtime fans have craved on the big screen for years as we’ve gotten it on the small screen regularly in animated form.

What did you think of the trailer? Excited? Disappointed?

Directed by Zack Snyder based on a screenplay by Chis Terrio, the film stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa will appear as Cyborg and Aquaman in minor roles. It’s set to debut on March 25th, 2016.

Plot concept: Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

  1. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. No, just…no. I’m getting zero gravitas from Eisenberg in this role, and whatever you think of Luthor, he’s always had that in spades.
