While a lot of shows are taking some time off next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Star Wars Rebels series is not one of them as they have a new episode out on Wednesday at 9:30pm on Disney XD. With that, they’ve put out the first promo clip from the episode titled Stealth Strike in which we see Kanan and Rex, along with Chopper, doing a little infiltration work and Jedi trickery.
The premise for the episode has also been revealed; “Rex and Kanan don stormtrooper disguises for an impromptu undercover rescue mission. But the effort turns out to be more complicated than originally anticipated…”
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
