Pony Canyon Japan is handling the home video distribution for quite the charming little series that’s currently airing with Lovely Muuuuuuuco!. The company will be bringing out the first DVD on February 2nd, 2016 that will have the first nine episodes of the show. It’ll be priced at 3,024 yen. There are plans for some extras on it involving the cast that are not completely firmed up at the moment.
The series is set animated by DLE Inc, which handles a number of short-form shows. The main cast for the project includes Hitomi Yoshida, Satoshi Hino, Sumire Uesaka, Kaori Nazuka, Junji Majima, Yu Kobayashi, Keiji Fujiwara and Hiroki Takahashi.
The manga from Mizushina has released seven volumes so far since it debuted back in 2011.
Plot concept: The story depicts the life of the pet dog Muco and his owner Komatsu, who lives in his glass-making workshop in the mountains.

I know it’s a pipe dream, but will this ever get a US release? I’d probably buy this strangely compelling series.
