As things move right along for the premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them next year, the first teases are now starting to come in. The official Twitter feed has gone live and that revealed the logo for the film. The next piece that’s landed is our first look at Eddie Redymane as Newt from the film with its cover as well as a few additional images that certainly sets the look and tone of the film
Directed by David Yates, the film is set for release on November 18th, 2016. It stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrel, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Ron Pearlman, Samantha Morton, Jenny Murray, Jon Voight, Gemma Chan, Carmen Ejogo and Alison Sudol.
The book, released on June 30th, 2015, is done as a Muggles guide to learning about the world of wizards. It describes the author of the book, who is the star of the film here, as “Newt Scamander was awarded the Order of Merlin, Second Class, in 1979 in recognition of his services to the study of magical beasts, Magizoology. Now retired, he lives in Dorset with his wife, Porpentina, and their pet Kneazles: Hoppy, Milly, and Mauler.”
