‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Adding Mark Ruffalo/Hulk

1 min read

Hulk RuffaloWhile Marvel’s use of The Hulk in the feature film world is something that’s frustrating, especially after stealing many scenes in The Avengers back in 2012, they’re still looking for ways to utilize the character while avoiding giving him his own feature film, which is certainly understandable. Now it appears that with the November 3rd, 2017 release of Thor: Ragnarok, they’re entering final negotiations with Mark Ruffalo to appear in it as our favorite gamma ray exposed character.

Ruffalo has continually expressed interest in taking on more roles for the character while also acknowledging the difficulty of getting him into his own solo film. The potential for a team-up film is there and if he’s a stronger player in this film it certainly makes sense. Ruffalo has commented numerous times since his first turn as the character that starring as Bruce Banner and The Hulk has opened a slew of doors for him in Hollywood to get numerous indie projects off the ground to solid critical success.

The film is set to be directed by Taika Waititi and will star Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Ruffalo.

  1. Bring back Ed Norton, looney Ruffalo still just doesn’t have it.

Bruce Banner shouldn’t be the “beta male” version of Tony Stark, but yet that’s where they went with Ruffalo’s Banner 🙁
