The production side of The X-Files has been pretty quiet overall as we didn’t get a lot of on set photos or other teases like we usually do with a lot of shows. But as Fox is out there running all of its new fall shows, they’re also ensuring that people know that this property is coming back in January. And that’s resulted in two new promos that have been combined into the one you see below. Having really enjoyed the original series overall, I’m still not completely sure that I want to get back into it in a way, but I know my curiosity will bring me back in a big way as it nears.
The miniseries will star David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Annet Mehendru and Joel McHale.
The show is set to kick off on January 24th, 2016 after the NFC Championship game that Sunday night. The show went into production in June for the event and will wrap up fairly quickly overall considering its length in comparison to other series.
