‘Yuruyuri San Hai’ Anime Premiere Scheduled

2 min read

YuruyuriWe got some basic info earlier this summer about the third series that’s coming up for this property with Yuryuri San Hai as we knew it would be getting a fall premiere with a couple of OVAs arriving before that. Now some new details have arrived from the official site that has revealed an October 5th premiere for the show alongside with the new visual you can see to the right. The network rollout is fairly standard with TV Tokyo kicking things off and then it moves to other networks over the next few days.

What’s different with this season is that the production team from the first two seasons won’t be involved, but the production team from the OVA will. That means we’ll see the season directed by Hiroyuki Hata at TYO Animations based on story material from him and Makoto Fukami. Mtohiro Taniguchi is on board to work the character designs and also serve as the chief animation director.

This series follows up the 2011 and 2012 series, which were streamed by Crunchyroll and released on home video by NIS America, as well as an OVA release.

Plot concept: Right after starting middle school, Akari Akaza joins the Amusement Club which is composed solely by her two childhood friends, Kyouko Toshinou and Yui Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, Akaza’s classmate, becomes a member after finding out about the dissolution of the Tea Club.

The Amusement Club, situated at the tea room facility since the Tea Club disbanded, has no clear purpose, being free for the girls to do whatever they want.
