Comical Psychosomatic Medicine Episode 18Falling mentally in love!

What they say:
Subconscious Patterns of People Likely to Suffer from Mental Disorders

Content:
Because when this show finds a decent idea it enjoys reusing it, this week’s episode also takes place at a café with one of Asuna’s sisters having a problem. Ryou, Asuna, and Himeru are walking towards a maid café where Pervert Nurse is meeting her 108th potential husband. They quickly discover that Pervert Nurse’s prospective life partner is also a pervert, so they have a lot in common! As Pervert Nurse and the real lolicon converse, Pervert Nurse begins blushing more and more despite the harsh criticisms that the lolicon is berating her with.

This reminds Ryou of his weekly tangent which this time is about determining people who will likely struggle with mental disorders. This somehow has to do something with people who have high self-esteem and low self-esteem. Truthfully, I have stopped caring about his speeches ages ago. Moving along, the lolicon proposes to Pervert Nurse who says “O-K” then swings the lolicon over her head and pile drives him into the ground. Ryou screams that the “O-K” meant “K-O.” Asuna, who I just realized has been pretty much written out of the show these past few episodes, informs Ryou that Pervert Nurse also did this with her other 100+ prospective husbands.

In Summary:
Despite repeating elements from the immediately previous episode, this episode was not terrible. It actually mixed up the formula a bit and was once again more concentrated on the narrative than the mental health lectures which have become a touch dull as time goes on. There was a subpar action scene near the end that was legitimately entertaining. I would say if you enjoyed episode seventeen episode eighteen is worth giving a try.
