It’s almost time to travel back in time to the 1602 era of the Marvel Universe on the Battleworld as part of Secret Wars as 1602: Witch Hunter Angela now has its covers, variants and some unlettered pages previewed. THe new book is one that definitely has a great team together for it with writers Marguerite Bennett and Kieron Gillen working together with arts Stephanie Hans and Marguerite Sauvage for what’s being billed as “an adventure fueled tale that has to be seen to be believed!”.
Plot concept: In King James’ England, two names are feared above all else – Angela and Sera, scourges of all creatures that haunt their Battleworld domain. They seek a new, seductive evil – not witchbreed, but deal-making Faustians, those who bargain with ancient creatures in return for unnatural power. As wicked evil and malicious shadow creep over the land – will Angela and Sera destroy this evil, or will they succumb to it? The answers lie within this June in 1602 WITCH HUNTER ANGELA #1!
