Himouto Umaru-chan HeaderThe upcoming anime series Himouto! Umaru-chan has had a lot going on recently with a couple of visuals, then the staffing being revealed and then the main cast for it being unveiled. Now the official Twitter account has revealed the character designs for the series, giving the main girls a chance to show off how they’ll look in the adaptation.

The show is set to include:

Aimi Tanaka as Umaru Doma
Yurina Furukawa as Sylphynford Tachibana
Haruka Shiraishi as Kirie Motoba
Akari Kageyama as Nana Ebina

The anime adaptation of SankakuHead’s manga series is set for summer 2015 series. The show will be directed by Masahiko Ohta based on the scripts by Takashi Aoshima along with character designs by Aya Takano and that it’ll be done at Dogakoba. Ohta, Aoshima and sound director Yasunori Ebina all worked together on Yuruyuri and a few of them on Kotoura-san.

The news comes as the fifth volume of the series arrived recently in Japan. That property has been running since 2013 in Weekly Young Jump.

More production details are expected to arrive in upcoming issues of the magazine, though it’s a safe guess that it’s going to be a short form show.

Plot concept: The sibling gag comedy manga centers around Umaru, Taihei’s little sister who boasts beautiful looks as well as prowess in both school and sports; however, “Himouto” (beautiful little sister) has a certain secret.
