The latest round of new releases are here, at least for those that have burned through all the new books from Wednesday and any collections that might have been picked up yesterday. Friday is once again a light day in terms of releases as there’s nothing done with backlist books and we only get a couple of digital exclusives. And once again, they couldn’t be more different. DC Comics continues with Batman: Arkham Knight, which is definitely getting a lot of fans through both digital and print editions, while Archie Comics gives us a new digital exclusive with a collection of material that brings together some pretty interesting stories to play on the whole Avengers Assemble motif. That one clocks in at $4.99 compared to the 99 cent Batman book, but there’s a lot of content in that collection.
