Warner Bros. Japan is again handling the home video distribution for Houkago no Pleaides in Japan and they’ve now solicited for the TV series. The twelve episode series is getting a six volume release that begins on June 24th, 2015. Both the DVD and Blu-ray releases are designated as limited editions for the first run and they’re both priced the same as well as each format is 7,560 yen each. Directed by Shouji Saeki with character designs by Mai Otsuka, The series stars Natsumi Takamori as Subaru, Ayuru Ōhashi as Aoi, Houko Kuwashima as Minato, Kanako Tateno as Itsuki, Saki Fujita as Nanako and Yui Makino as Hikaru.
Original project concept: Subaru is a young girl who discovers that her best friend Aoi is part of magical group trying to gather engine fragments so that a little being from Pleiades can return to his home. Subaru considers joining them as she was chosen by the Pleiadian, president of this afterschool club.
